I'll look into the eqii button being in front of everything. Also the reason it works the way it does when you move it is because it is actually 2 pages working as one. You can only move one page at a time so what happens is it allows you to move the start bar and then it cause the button to snap to its location when you remove your mouse from the actual bar. (You can play with this if you want.)

I'll look into adding this to the next update as well.

The reason the page addition for the XP works, is because the XP bar is a constantly updating UI Piece, and the close/open comes into effect right away. I saw this info somewhere else on the site, but cannot remember where.

The startbar shows up fine for me, but whenever I log out, when I
log back in the start bar has collasped ( I keep it expanded) and the
whole startbar window drops down an inch or so on the screen, so that
when I hit the expand button again, the expanded part shows up off screen.

I have the startbar set in the lower right corner of the screen, and it
shifts down an inch or so. The EQ2 button also shows up out of the window
when I log in.

I am forced to unlock the window and move it each time I log in or swap
characters, which snaps the EQ2 button back into the frame.

Any ideas? I normally keep the window locked, and click through enabled.
Also, I have the full size icons patch installed for Startbar, as well as the
GU37b patch installed if any of that matters.

It's nothing really big, but it is a pain to have to reset it each time I play,
and I really don't want to re-design my windows to move it anywhere else.
i just want it to stay put where I set it.

Could some one make a patch version/ another version and make it where their isnt any volume control and use that space and make other icons bigger i run 1650x1200.

Hey Himay, was the change for GU39 pretty much just the extra files added to the mainhud? Cause with that mine works flawlessly

I tested this in a fresh UI directory and all I got was the EQ2 button and nothing more. I tried the Alt~ trick and the mod to the XP file as well, no joy.

I'm getting the same in a Fetish install. The window seems to be there, but only the EQ2 button is visible and usable. Shame, I really liked the concept of this mod and would like to use it.

Yes. Sorry. I forgot to mention in the update that you can just download the patch for the mainhud.xml file if you already have the window.

It should work either way. I would try setting it so that no windows are allowed off screen then try the alt~. Also if you install fetish, make sure fetish is installed first then install this mod. Good luck! Let me know if you still have problems.

I did that exactly. As I said, the window itself appears, it's just blank except for the EQ2 button. I can turn the borders on and see them. I can drag it. I can change window settings; it's just not populated. Alt~ made no difference, and I do have it set so nothing can appear off screen. Fetish had already been installed when I tried it. It's as if there is a reference missing to a resource file that is not included somehow, but works on other installs because they have it referenced elsewhere - the widgets dds perhaps?

I'll download the most current version and make sure nothing got fouled up when I rezipped it for the latest GU. I'll also make sure that nothing in the newest version of Fetish broke it.

Tested tonight. The mod works in a fresh install. Unfortunately it is currently not compatible with the Fetish Inventory window. Once I can figure that out I'll post an updated version along with a slight tweak that might make it work better for first time installs.

Update: Updated for Fetish compatibility. You lose the Fetish Bag Strip, but gain the Startbar!

OK, it works! Loss of the bag bar is no big thing to me, I never used it anyway.

A few oddities though (nothing really major, but a little annoying):
1) The EQ2 button has a mind of it's own, and likes to appear outside the wrapper window. Hovering over it makes it jump back in place.
2) If the collapsed window is located near the bottom of the screen, expanding it makes it go off. Something like the Fetish dock would be really nice for those of us who want it on the bottom and normally leave it collapsed, but still want access to the expanded version without having to drag it around.

1.) That happens on every EQ2 Button mod like this I have seen, don't think that is fixable...

2.) It would be interesting to see something like that working, however I usually leave the presets offscreen and expand to the sliders when I log in.

If you use the default button itself and just wrap it, yes. The Fetish mod makes it's own button to replace it entirely. I'm not trying to be nit-picky, just pointing that out. I still prefer Himay's over Fetish for this.

I am having a problem with the sound sliders reseting my sound. I went into the file and changed the Master Volume to be 1.000 and the others to be at 0.500, but that didn't work. It sets the master to half and the others to almost off.

Not sure what to do. Any ideas?
