Excuse me, but i have a little problem with this mod. I had the EQ2 Maps mod and i read your FAQ so please dont ask me to read. The Mod will not work. Does this happen with the Maps mod Installed allready, or has this only happend to me?

Not sure if this has been mentioned yet(couldn't find it at least.)Is there a way that on the character select screen it gives more slots for station players.I think we get a total of 12 toons(not sure ,havn't had to use them all yet lol!).And I wasn't sure about the server button.Most of my toons are on 1 server but 2 are on a dif one.Anyways thanks for the awsome Ui,Im new to this game but have been playing Mmos close to 5 years now.I've seen alot and this was a HUGE improvment on this Ui.Wish I could use it for a few others I play

It should, I didn't change any of the auto-resizing but I will take a second look just to be sure.

When I run the updater I get an error message:

Error Occured
System
The remote server returned an error: (404) Not Found
e2ui_mainhud_map.xml

I have uninstalled and reinstalled and I am still getting it. Could this be causing me not to collect shinies also?

Secondly any sign of a fix for not being able to loot? I can't live without my loot ...... ;-)

First off, Long time fetish user, but since its not being updated as much anymore looking for a good UI to switch to.

Before I came to work i noticed a few things.. (and i'm at work so I can't test fixing this locally)

1) Logitech G15 support doesn't work, this is probably fixable by utilizig the G15 fix posted on other interfaces by adding the include to the XML.

2) Patcher errors out saying it cannot find eq2.ini in /everquestII/DBSmod folder. (I copied the main dir one in there, and the patcher patched ok) Guess it doesn't download it from the patcher site?

My Wishlist:
- Updated broker window to be similar to fetish/profit.
- Closable clock window. (usually ALT-C but that does nothing)
- Effects/Maintained window clickable button to make it longname of buff with time (I guess this is more of a personal preference thing but I like looking over and seeing how much time is left on a buff/debuff without mousing over)
- Map Fog remover mod for eq2maps.


In all those are minor wishlist items, I love the UI and won't stop using it without those in there. Good Job.

Fixed - rerun the auto-updater

This is usually due to a path error, the file only has 3 lines:
cl_movie_enabled 0
cl_ui_skinname DeaDBeaTs
cl_ui_subdir UI/

Fog Remover checkbox location has been fixed
Dual pane Broker window is coming soon
Clock is hide-able again

Effects and Maintained - not sure if I want to go that way, goes against the smaller compact idea but I will think about making it optional.

The updater keeps giving an error.

blah.blah file cannot be found. server giving 404 error code.

some files missing off the server atm?

Shouldn't be, are you running the latest version of the updater?

I've had over 400 clients update in the last couple of hours without any errors logged.

Just wanted to say but I was late to post...Thanks,u rock bro.After the update I loaded my game with out thinking and had an error witht the loot window and Ui.So I ran your updater and *poof* everything was back to perfect.Awsome job on keeping this great Ui updated quickly.

I am getting the same problem. Even uninstalled, DLed the current version and tried to reinstall just in case.


"The remote server returned an error: (404) not found. version.txt"

Then it repeates the error message for every file until I can sneak a close window between enters


Any idea? I don't think I can stand playing with generic UI

The newest version of the updater downloads from a new location, that's the only thing that will cause the 404 errors. Run the uninstall from your control panel and then download a fresh copy.

Let me know if that doesn't fix it.
