Discuss this and other Mother's UI pieces
here.
** GU29 Compatible - No changes **
This should be the final piece of the set started with mother's group, mother's target, and mother's player and pet windows. Here's my attempt at a raid window that's flexible enough for everyone.
Arrange the group member display of you raid in one of 4 layouts:
6 vertical, 6 horizontal, 3x2 or 2x3
Arrange the groups themselves in one of 8 layouts:
4 vertical, 3 vertical, 2 vertical, 2x2 square, 2-4 horizontal, and just added free-form mode which allows each of the 4 windows to be individually positioned or hidden.
That gives 32 total layout possibilities which should fit just about any screen layout. Uhmmm, yeah, and I'm planning for the future, like Sony with the one layout that's 3500 pixels wide x 59 tall. Seriously, there should be at least 24 combinations that are less than 1600 pixels wide.
Background transparency is working and adjustable with the Sony window controls.
Re-laying out of the raid window is accomplished with the hidden except on mouseover button at the bottom left of the window shown in the third image on this page. Just select the raid and group layouts you want and have at.
I don't raid a lot, so please throw in on my thread if there's something I need to know to improve this one.
Version 2.0.0
Major overhaul. Acting on the suggestions of downloaders, I have looked at Ger's raid window and quite possibly successfully adapted it.
To move the windows or set group visibility individually, select "Free form" from the raid layout option.
Some things to note:
1. In free form mode, the individual group positions do not save. You'll have to put them where you want then each login. It was a challenge to get it to save the group layout. Don't ask for miracles
2. If you have problems with the raid window saving your group layout, try hiding it with alt-r before logging out. I think it should save anyhow, but if it doesn't, hiding the window should force it.
3. In free form mode, you cannot right-click on the raid window to pull up the window transparency options. Sorry, just doesn't work. Switch it to another layout, set your transparency, flip it back to free form.
4. You will probably want to set your mouse-over and no mouse-over transparencies to the same value in free form mode. Essentially, that mode works by making the raid window cover the entire screen. So, unless your mouse is in another window, it's in the raid window. Could cause the transparency to flicker oddly sometimes if you don't set the values the same. You've been warned.
That's it, try it out and let me know the result.
Version 1.0.1
Found an error that prevented raid member health from appearing unless you also had Mother's Group Window installed. (/shame)
