If you can provide more specific information regarding exactly what you've done and exactly how you've done it, then I'm sure someone can help you spot where things went wrong.
But, please, post those details in the Info Center's forum thread, and not as additional file comments here. That's what the forum is for, and why pretty much every mod available here at eq2interface.com has a note on its download page saying, "Please post help requests on the forum, and not here."

and nothing is loading, and i get no errormessage or nothing, any advice on what could be wrong?

Not necessarily. Every UI I've installed I've dragged & dropped from the zip file to the custom UI folder with no problems. If the file/folder structure is correct in the zip, it should copy correctly to the custom UI.

Go and get Total Commander, u can manage, browse your harddrives / cd-roms etc with it, copy, moving, unpacking files etc. You just can go into a packed file, select files in the packed file and copy it, it will automatically unpack then the files. So you wont have anymore problems with packed files if there isnt the right folder structure in it. 1st time if u start the programm it ask you alot of things but actually you dont have to setup anything just press always ok. Its shareware I guess or maybe even freeware dont know anymore its a damn old prog, in the older days it was called windows commander.
Cant believe how ppls can live without it, its just a must have and sorry for my crappy English.

Custom UI files have to be in a custom UI folder, not in the default folder.

I extracted all files and folder to UI\Default, replace eq2ui_journals.xml and then start EQ2. After the game was updated i noticed that eq2ui_journals.xml change to original. So window in the game is black.

Milquetowst info
Installation is simple: Unzip the eq2ui_journals_infocenter.xml and eq2ui_journals.xml files, and the "infocenter" folder (with its various subfolders), into your custom UI folder.
(If you don't already have a custom UI folder, then you need to create one and tell the game to use it. Instructions for doing so can be found elsewhere on this site.)
Can anyone please tell me or get the link to this page ive spent the last 45 mins looking for it and all i get is the same results
Thx

Is this updated for all the changes in the recent patches, ie, tradeskill recipes, rare items from harvesting, etc?
