1. Appearance slots on the Inventory window have been there since v9.1

2. A fix for the Detrimental window has been posted on the front page of this site since that window went live. It only takes about 5 seconds to complete.

3. If you don't want to go through #2 then v9.2 has the detrimental window fix already.

I'm not sure about Appearance slots for the Inspect Player window but they are there for the inventory. With every release Zonx posts an update list that shows you what has changed. It's a good idea to get in the habit of reading those so that you don't miss out on stuff like this.

When are we gonna get the appearance slot update, I found the file line for the detriment bar and put it up, it works great. Still waiting on the appearance slots though.

I followed the instructions on the main page about adding
<include>eq2ui_mainhud_detrimental_effects.xml</include>

to the eq2mainhud xml file. to change it all i did was rename it to a .txt. added the line then changed it back to a .xml and it works just fine for me

People are getting that error from what I hear with the Default UI as well. The UI itself seems to be running fine without the window.. if you can stand to not see that window for a day or so I'm sure it will be fixed/updated.

Anyone else getting the Detrimental Effects error message? I tried loading that UI but I guess that alone doesn't do it. Anyone know how else to get it to work?

If you are referring to the Appearance slots in the Inventory window then yes, that was added with the latest version. However, the appearance slots in the Inspect window have not been added as of yet.

Everything looks really good, except the xp bar which looks kind of fuzzy

Make sure that you are extracting to the EverQuest II directoy and not the UI or Fetish directories.

Hmm I downloaded the new patch and it still crashes before it goes to the character select. No idea what I did wrong.

FYI: this update fixes the Character Select / Character Creation...Crash / Mis-Alignment issue from GU38.

Check out the support area noted in Zonx' comments above for workarounds until a new version can be pushed out.

Found a partial solution there as a matter of fact, still having one problem though that I cant figure out. but it got me past the Error at least. Heres a link incase anyone else needs help, and thank you WDavis
