ANy way yet to get the mail screens to work?.....any help is appreciated.

Its great and its very helpfull but the AC is now called Mitigation and so it doesnt show correctly other than that, a good place for LOC and AQII butons would be great... awsome work everyone = ) THX

I also had the problem with the mail window. I found this on the front page of this site with the update notes from that patch. I followed the instructions and it worked I can use mail...it does not match this UI but allows you to use mail until this UI is updated for that patch.

If you can not use or access the mail system please add the following lines anywhere between the <Page....> includes </page> tags in the eq2ui_mainhud.xml file located in your custom ui folder. (Just open the file in notepad or any text editor.)

<include>eq2ui_mainhud_mail.xml</include>
<include>eq2ui_mainhud_openedmail.xml</include>

Now I found these instructions somewhat confusing as there are alot of lines the include the <page> but looking around I found a list of windows at the bottom of this file for me like the two lines above that he asks you to add and so I added them there and it worked.

I've seen it in other threads where they are describing their troubles with the AC showing up as 10000, along with other values. If anyone has a direct fix for this problem, to switch it to defense(I think) and mitigation and so it wont be 10000 either, it would be greatly appreciated. Heh, I don't want to switch too a new interface, I like this one too much.

My apologies for not getting back with much of the discussion here I have been on vacation. I noticed that the first time i logged in the area around the compass worked perfectly as planned, but since has disappeared. I will look into this, but in the meantime you can show this addon by:

/show_window MainHUD.Hey

I like the UI, it's both functional and well-designed Well done!

Only problem I have is there seems to be something missing - in your screenshots, theres a frame/background object to go around the hotbars, with a space to put the compass - this seems to be absent from my version - any idea how to find it?

Hehe, no ignorance its easy to miss. You should just be able to /show_window MainHUD.Hey and it should show up. I don't know why it's not showing up right now, but I will be taking a look at it this weekend.

Hey, I tried the /show_window MainHUD.Hey option, which does indeed show the missing window, but it's not in the right place - it's too low down on my screen - how do I move it? I can't move barely any of the windows in the mod, which is a bit irritating sometimes.

Also, what are the hotkey docking options supposed to do? They all just stack on top of eachother at the bottom of the screen if I click one by accident, and I have to camp out to fix it because I also can't move those.

Ok I"m horribly confused. I read through all the comments but saw no answer. I installed this UI and I don't have a bottom bar at all. Opaquing the top bar doesn't show anythigng behind it nor can I move any bars but the quest bar. Any ideas?

Any word on this? I'm having the same problem with ac being not being updated, unless it really is 10k Do you have anything in the works to help this display? Thanks for the mod, it's awesome.


Also, in the targeting window, I can't distinguish between heroic and epic mobs. I got our group killed the other day because I pulled what I thought to be a heroic encounter, but it turned out to be Epic X2. Needless to say they all laughed at me and thought I was nuts. Silly me. I've tried both displays, but neither remedy it. Can anybody help? Cheers

I love the look. The only problem I have with it is that I can't move the hot bars.

Hey all,

I'm using this interface since a couple of months now, I don't want to use another, because I really like this one.
There is just 1 thing I'd like to point out:
The new features, such as email and especially the new Guild Menu don't work anymore!!
I know there are other versions released of this UI, but I don't like them.. I like this one because it's very overseeable.
Is there any chance the new Email and Guild Menu can be implemented into this "old" UI?
Please let me know!
