Here is the simple question. Where do I install EQ2maps? This is kind of what I want to know, c/program files/sony/everequest2, or is it c/program files/sony/everequest2/ui/profitreborn ?

It seems that in my attempt to install it, the program is EVERYWHERE but where it needs to be.

So is there a simple answer?
You should install the program by its default path ex "c:\program files\EQ2MAP Updater".
Run the updater, it will detect your profit install and add eq2map to it.

Are there plans to allow using Staion Launcher to run the game? I tried setting the path and putting -game EQ2 in but nothing happens.

I can't install and run eq2 map uploader on the computer I am currently using. Evidentally, the problem is that I have mozilla instead of internet explorer on this comp and that won't allow me to download the dotnetfx 2.0.

Anyone have a solution or a website I can go to download the dotnetfx 2.0 on this computer with mozilla?

Open options and set Autolaunch Eq2 to the path of Station Launcher ex
"C:\Program Files\Sony\Station\Station Launcher\LaunchPad.exe"

Unhappy problem with the file
Avast Antivirus would not let me download the file cause it found a Trojan virus in the file you may want to remove it.

EQ2 map not working
Ok, I dont get it. Been trying to get eq2 map to work for a while now and no luck. I am running Vista 64-Bit. I updated Java, everything is set to run as admin. and still no luck. When i click on the desktop or start menu icon it says EQ2MAP Updater has stopped working. That is all the description i get. Would love anyones input as this is a awesome program and i would love for it to work. I have installed profit UI and have had no problems, so not sure what else to do. UPDATE-today i tried turning off the UAC on Vista and running EQ2 map and I get the same result.

Cant get it to work in game...
installed EQ2map and ran the update -- but when I log into game, it is not running. I am running Vista 64 -- anyone have any suggestions ?
