Default Autohiding chat line

My bottom line of text auto hides. How do I make that go away?

Yea I have the same problem, i don't like the title bar up, but I don't want it to auto-hide that chat type line. Just delete "eq2ui_mainhud_mainchat.xml" and use the defualt. If your picky like me.

Actually there's another way to get it cleared up. Go into the window options for the chat window and select the item (forget the exact wording) that gives a frame or no frame. You can "usually" select "Frame and Border" or some such as that. When you do you'll get your input line back. I had lots of problems with this, notably when I was using another UI. That's one of the big reasons I switched to Fetish.

Set it to Frame and Border, then just change the opacity to 0 on that one. The chatline no longer auto-hides.
