Default Problem with Lavastorm maps near spire

When I enter the area around the spire east of the Temple of Ro, the map windows incorrectly switch to the Temple of Ro submap.

Yeah, IIRC this is a rather old issue with that submap; it wasn't much of an issue since it only really happened in a small area -- but now that area is right next to the spire.

As for a solution... I'll let one of the folks more familiar with submaps answer that.

We would need to split the temple of ro map up into separate submaps to make tighter availablerects and elevations (the image could stay the same, we'd just need to create additional mapstyle definitions). To do that someone would need to run over and gather the respective /locs.

If it does not work, you likely installed it incorrectly. Always try a clean install before reporting bugs.

That's what I thought, since they have to be rectangular slices.
