cure pots/canceled casting

i read the faq and i either did something wrong or misunderstood:

i would like whatever im casting to cancel when i click to cure. i changed false to true in the cancelspellcast field on the cure text file and restarted; now i get a message that reads already casting when i try to cure while casting.

is there a way to make my current spell stop casting when i click to cure (outside of hit esc beforehand)?

I think the only way you can get the already casting message is if you have cure pots from two different tiers in your bags, because then the UI tries to use them both. But it should still work. If it didn't you must have made a mistake while editing the file.
