Profit Status?

Hi and sorry for what may seem like an obvious question.

I have also tried to search out the forums for an answer, but struggling to find anything solid or uptodate.

I have just come back to EQ2 after a wee while away from game (ok several months!) - in fact had to reinstall EQ2 as I have got a new pc since I last played.

Pre-leaving my UI was, of course, Profit (its simple, clean, and perfect). However, when I tried to installed it yesterday with the auto installer/updater I got a problem with 1900x1200 file not being available (and another iir) - I did a search then which bought me to finding out the sad news that gm9 was no longer supporting it.

I did read that several others had volunteered to keep it going/updated, but these posts were back in June.

Dont get me wrong, I have tried other UIs but nothing comes close (Fetish, for example, to me at least, is very hard to organise the screen, the target, f1(self), exp windows etc are just too messy for me. I also found it difficult to sort the bars out along with alot of other issues, and for me, if a UI is a nightmare to sortout, its not worth it! With Profit I never had this problem).

I have tried to play with other UIs, and the standard, and just cannot cope with out my clean Profit UI.

Now I also appreciate that many players have left to go to other games, and therefore support for UIs itself is waning.

I would also offer to upkeep the UI if I wasnt crap at stuff like that!

So, hmm, what were the questions again? Ohhh yes - is Profit still being supported, or is it a dead UI? Is it a usuable UI (excl the above errors as I can always load a different screen size), and if not, can anyone recommend a UI that is similar to Profit, even if not for how much Profit could/can do?

I hope I fixed the broken file for you, can't comment on the rest (I *thought* Chrislau was still on it though).
