Echoes o Faydwer Maps Missing

Hi folks,

I have just returned to EQ2 after a 8 month break and have updated my Profit UI to reborn and run the EQ2 Map Updater.

Everything works great until I enter an Echoes of Faydwer zone. Than it doesn't even display the original map, just athe zoomed out world only map.

I have tried searching the forums, and have spent the last week re-running the updater, re-installing it etc.

Can anyone give me any clue about what may be wrong?

My best guess from the info you provided is that when you installed Echoes of Faydwer that it installed the game in a different location and EQ2Map is updating the map files in the old location.

Right click on the icon you use to load EQ2, Choose properties, then under the short cut tab look for target: C:\... That is where your active EQ2 is installed. You will want to make sure the UI folder in that path has the new Profit UI, and in the EQ2Map patcher under options make sure it has the correct paths and if not change them and restart the patcher.

I have 2 installations for EQ2, one for the US servers and one for the Euro ones, it was pointing to the wrong set.

Works a treat now
