Default CUre Buttons Not working

I am especially anxious for the auto-cure function to work by consuming potions. I am level 90 and am using the highest level Remedy for all cures - but I noticed they don't work. What do I need to do to get them to work?

Which are you referring to exactly, the Cure Finder that I implemented recently? There is no "auto" anything. It is all manual triggers that find the first thing to be cured.

If you're talking about Click-to-cure, that is different.

No I am talking about the SELF-CURE Settings where you select a potion or a spell - I assumed that for myself if I selected potion, It would have me drink a the appropriate potion.

What are your settings set to? And what is your click-to-cure text set to?

Since I am not a mage class I have unchecked all the casting - cure options and just checked the POTION OPTIONS. I assumed that by checking the potions that it would automaticall consume a potions when I had the detrimental on me. I have potions for all the detrimentals (except curse of course).

I did not make any changes in the window that comes up with the EDIT feature - should I put something in that?

It will not auto consume potions. You have to click the cure icons to trigger the potion. Automation such as this will never be supported and would be a real pain to actually trigger like that since casting abilities would get in the way regardless.

If you have to click the button what make this any better or faster than clicking on the button in your hot bar? I wanted something faster than the hotbar that would work automatically.

It frees up room on the hotbar. Automation is a big no-no with SoE. What you want could be done...it would just be very unwise to do it or to use it.
