Game Update 39

Game Update number 39 has now been pushed live. With this update comes some interface changes. Like normal I have posted a compare of the changes to the xml.

This update adds a new interface window to the game called the Detrimental Effects window. This window will show only debuffs on your character. If your custom interface has a eq2ui_mainhud.xml file you will have trouble seeing this new window. You will need to add the following line of code to your custom eq2ui_mainhud.xml file...

Find at the bottom of the file:
</Page>

Directly above that insert a new line and add this:
<include>eq2ui_mainhud_detrimental_effects.xml</include>

Other GU 39 Highlights:

• The Fear Gate in the Feerrott has opened! The Shard of Fear, a fraction of the Plane of Fear, is now accessible by Norrathian mortals. Only seasoned adventurers traveling in groups should dare look upon this realm of terror and dread.
• Further sighting of mysterious visitors from Kunark have occurred in the waters near Freeport and Qeynos. See Admiral Marc Grenich in Qeynos Harbor and Livia Montellus in Freeport East to join in the investigations of these visitors.
• Guild banks have been extended with several new options. See the Guild Banks section below for details.

You may want to add the same instructions for UIs that include eq2ui_inventory.xml, where you need to add

<include>eq2ui_inventory_guildbanksettings.xml</include>

to access the new guild bank settings window.

I have added the update for detrimental to the xml file however everytime i load eq2 it removes it ??

and if the patcher removes that file that means your server does not have that window yet anyway - it won't work before you get GU39.
