Switch off the map-tool ingame ?

Hi there,

i enjoy your map-tool very much, very detailed and helpful, but sometimes its a bit a overload anyhow, just subjective for me..i wanted to ask in times when i want it plain and simple ..how can i switch off the map-update ingame, is there a command or something ?
