Cant see any TEXT!!!!!!!!

Hello Guys

Ok once they came out with the new quest journal i removed the eq2ui_journal_quest file to get the quest journal to work while at the same time not having to get rid of the rest of my ui

However now i cant read some text. What i mean is to give an example lets say on the island of refuge the shady shard quest. Each time you are ready to move to the next part you must examine the shard and select an option. The text is there to read but the text for the two options is not so for quests where i have to be able to see the text in the little window i cant see them. I can highlight the area the text would be and make a choice but thats it

What can i do?
