Updater not working

Afriend of mine is having issues with updater here is the error code being generated

process id=0x1218 (4632) thread id=0x1220 (4640)

have tryed uninstalling and reinstalling updater
as well as uninstalling and reinstalling framenetwork 1.1 2.0 as well as 3.0 along with updates

any help would be apperciated

I am having the same issue and the error is almost exactly the same and have tried all the same steps... I am really missing my maps! Any help anyone has would be appreciated.. my process id was 0x120(288) and Thread id was 0x1210(4624)

Do you have the .net Microsoft framework installed? If not you will get the error.
