Default EQ2 Maps Kunark

Hi

Can someone tell me in simple terms why my map updater wont download zones like maidens, chelsith, COA etc? i cant even get unrest on there.....but there aren't any problems with the rest of the everquest maps like commonlands or even Jarsath, sebilis etc just seems to be the kunark instances.

I have Windows Vista I dont no if there is a problem there or anything

I have tried running it as administrator but this still doesnt work....its really annoying because i cant see the holes in the floor...so i generally stay away from the zone entirely.

Again please reply very slowly using small words lol

Make sure it updates the right folder, if thats ok, you can try to Re-download all the files. There is a button for this in Options.

It does not matter where you install it, jnils meant that you should make should that when you click Options on the updater it points to the correct eq2 path (many people have several installations without them knowin) and the correct interface.

If it does not work, you likely installed it incorrectly. Always try a clean install before reporting bugs.

That means you installed into the wrong path. In particular for localized server, e.g. UK servers, the patcher is prone to download a second copy of the game, usually into a subfolder of the type "Everquest II\LP_REGION_xx_xx". Alternatively search your disks for the file everquest2.exe, you'll probably find several of those.
