Update of an older mod

Hi i was wondering if anyone might consider upgrading this little mod for the masses

It's a mod that gives you the option to hide your hotbar when not in combat and would be really useful

Before you guys count to ten, what's even broken with it? I didn't realize SOE even changed the hotbars since the release of that mod.

If there was no substantial change just upload the default hotkey file for me (don't have eq2 installed anymore) and I might patch it up for you.

Doesn't show massive reuse numbers like the profit bars (or any number, for that matter) is what's wrong with it. Other than that it seems to work.

How hard would it be to add those numbers to each Frame and Title setting?

Ok so you don't want it updated...you want it modded. I'm working on something else at the moment but when I get a chance I will look at it if nobody gets there first.

When I saw it linked I tried it out and it didn't work properly (hence the thirded), not sure why it didn't work but I swapped my normal bars back in. The saw you post (TalTal) that they did in fact work and tried them out again and they worked just fine (absolutely no idea what was up, probably should have relogged the first time).

But yeah, they do work - if people are fine with no reuse numbers there's no reason to not use this as it is.

Hi

I am using profit UI and when I copied the file into my profit UI folder all my hotbars disappeared. So i had to put back in the old one. There weren't any instructions included so I jsut assumed the file overwrites the one in the profit folder. Of course I could be completely wrong lol or it might just not work with profit?

I have attached the oringal file it overwrites

The way I understand it is that the hotbars you set ingame aren't visiable (unless you choose to have them permanently so) but will pop up when you start combat.

I had a look at both the orginal xml and the mod xml and it's beyond me i'm afraid.

Hoping you else can make sense of it

I use profit and just dropped the file in place. It worked fine. You use the titlebar and frame settings options on the window settings page for each hotbar to determine when they do or do not appear.

Ok i'll have another go.. but i'll log into game first and set all the hotbars to the visable setting .. thinking about it that might have been the problem maybe they were all set to be invis lol

set the frame & titlebar option of your default hotbars to the setting where those other hotbars would be visible, once you switch them out it will apply to them

yup that worked i set all my hotbars to frame and titlebar before i loaded in the new file.. works a treat

This doesn't seem to be working completely on test.

The icons seem to be set in a square shape (unlike the rounded icons on test) so the corners of the buttons look rough and have little black corners where the icons don't match.

Upon log in, the bars are all shown and don't disappear until you've moused over them once. After cycling through F10 to show all windows and come back to the normal interface you have to mouse over them once again.

Not major issues in the slightest, just somewhat annoying aesthetics.

Also, didn't really want to make a new thread for it (since this thread is about an update of an older mod anyway), but http://www.eq2interface.com/download...arentchat.html doesn't seem to be working on live or test and I absolutely love how transparent the chat tabs and overall window look. Is there any hope of updating this or anyone know of a working chat window that hides the tab backgrounds like this one?
