Anyway this can be updated as of DoV it shows correctly on the Default UI. I believe there was something to figure it out which is no longer needed. If Only SoE would give us more Gear with Spell Multi Attack

As of this moment, I have checked the new persona windows on the live server and they seem to be working okay. Until the files are available through the updater, we'll need to download the zip files that Silat posted and unzip the one we use to replace the old persona window

I am having the same problem..even though I have replaced the unzipped XML file in the UI directory AND I have used the updater, it is still telling me my charcter window is incompatible etc?

Does anyone how any ideas how to solve this as the character window really is the most important one

I have deleted the old file, then use updater, which then tells me all your files are up to date and yet, it still does not work.

If you use the updater now, you will force your persona window back to the old incompatible version. You could tell the updater to ignore the persona window for now. Just remember to un-ignore it once the new files have made it to the update server.

I don't know when the files will be available on the update server. Silat is in the middle of moving about 1,000 miles, so I assume he doesn't have computer access at the moment.

The new persona window works if you download the .zip files from the message of 4-26 to your ProfitUI directory and then un-zip the version you want so it replaces the .xml file in the same directory.

If anyone needs more detailed instructions how to do that, let me know.

Congrats to all that have worked on Profit especialy the back grounds ,,the skinning it has made much more pleasure and been now able to play EQ for extended periods WITH OUT a Migraine from the BLACK back grongs that make EQ so un interesting dull and to myself and I am sure many others a head ache

Just wondering if there exists out there somewhere a more up to date spell list for InfoCenter. The current set only goes up to lvl 80 and a lot of spell names were changed in the last big workover... I've been working on my own update but it's a long process and I have no way to verify that my info is 100% correct. Anyone know?

Hello,

Since it seems you've taken over modding the UI I wanted to note that the MainHUD Shutdown has a problem when you double-click another character to camp to it. It camps the current character then when it goes to login with the new character you get "Login rejected: Username or Password is incorrect...".

With no password, it used to bring up the login screen with the character you selected and allow you to type in your password. But that doesn't work like that anymore. Nor does it work when you have the Username / Password put into the LoginData.txt file. I get the same error.

Any idea what the problem could be?

Look in the profitui section of the forums here on eq2interface. There is a patch I posted for it. I will be putting it on the updater when I push the stuff for AoD.

I have been using Profit for a long time and wouldn't switch for just about any reason. You are doing a great job maintaining this epic UI. I have one request though. Since a lot of people are using widescreen monitors I was wondering if someone could post some wide screen formats such as 1366x768. That's the one my system is designed for. I know there are others that would appreciate this too. Thanks in advance,

Is anyone else having issue with broker window when you use the preset searchers. When we select Adv Armor recipes , it calls none up and I noticed that the class drop down window changes to "Outfitter" and say Adv Sage recipes the class drop down window changes to "Jeweler".

I noticed that these are all off by one in the list, so think a simple fix can be done there. BTW, recipes is spelled wrong in the Broker Window, which has "recipies"

I did a fresh install of EQ2 last night, and ran the ProfitUI Maintained updater this morning. When I did /load_uisettings while in game, I could select the correct resolution of Profit UI, but all it did was scramble my boxes around. I verified that the updater is following the correct path to my installed game, and the EQ2.ini file is directing to Profit UI. What else should I do?

type /loadui then select profit. load_uisettings is for character layouts.

Despite the fact people have the correct setting in eq2.ini there are some (including me when I tested it) that the game is reading from eq2_recent.ini no idea why this is but it has happened.

When I do an /inspect_player command and view their achievements-tab, there is always this empty "Raid" showing 0/180 achievement-bar, I guess its the guild-raid which werent implemented correctly within this window - couldnt find it where to fix it tho.

Fire up the Task Manager, go to the Processes tab and look for "javaw" processes when you don't have anything Java-based running. Kill those processes. What's happening is that old instances are getting stuck exiting, they aren't really running but they haven't exited and still have the database file open so new instances can't access it. Killing those javaw processes should release the file and clear the error up.

This seems to be more complicated than I thought. I have been getting an exception now at every run of the updater:

I have tried a number of things and have confirmed the following:

- There is no obvious java process running when the exception occurs.
- Restarting the system does not clear the error.
- When I try to restart, Windows often reports a program that won't close and must be forced to close. Unfortunately, it does not reveal which program won't die.
- The updater works reliably in spite of the error.

I'm still poking at this. If I find anything new, I'll post it.

FWIW, this is on a 64-bit AMD system running Windows Home Premium.
