Earthdate? lol.

You know you've been playing EQ2 too much when you need todays date displayed on the screen.

I like it but....

On the horizontal bar, AM & PM are not visible even though there are spaces for them and the 5 of 2005 is clipped off by the game time.

I also noticed that the background doesn't extend the length of the bar.

See attached.

Is there a particular resolution or font size I should be using for this?

Thanks.

PLEASE. Can the rest of the world have a version of this?

Those of us outside the USA have 24 hours in a day (rather than 12 twice) and write their dates in DD-MM-YYYY format. Could we have a version that shows the time in "military" style (HH:MM) and the date in the format above?

Judging by the scrrenshots, your AM/PM is dropping because you're using a fatter font, prbly the default. Change the fonts to Arial 12 or try stretching the time text object's width.

There are seperate data elements for day, month, year, hour and minutes so it should be possible to build a Euro date version of the clock. Not sure if the hour element is 12 or 24.

Don't think we can mess with Norath time format though.

Thanks Zonx, but I fixed it last week when I decided to delve into the mysteries that are XML and have been playing with it since then.

I managed to figure out how to make the fields bigger, move them around and get the background and border to fit.

Looks like the time string is just that, a string. It's probably supplied by the game engine and would have to be changed on their end. Unless there are some slash commands in the game to change the format from 12hr to 24hr, we are stuck.

See the attached pix.

Looking at EQ2_000171.JPG makes me want to put the 2 digital times on either side of the compass.

I can tell this modding is going to cut into my playing time...

this is a cool interface piece. do you think you could consider expanding it into a world clock? It would be super cool with like in-game time and then 3 different time zones for reallife time, then us European players could keep track of PST (server dt and us pacific players), CET (for english players) and own timezone (cet+1 in my case). That would assist greatly for knowing when finding a pickup group is likely and when it is not likely etc etc. Just a suggestion !!

I have the same problem Araigadai had that I can't see the AM or PM and the number 5 on the year 2005, I read it might be the font size, and the only place I found were I could change font size was the chat option, but I can't change the font type to Arial and also changing the chat font size doesn't make any diference, the pic shows how I use this clock, I only need the Norrath time and I am using it without the AM or PM for now, and I would just change those colors maybe to somethink like dark yellow or grey. And if I can get the AM and PM to work I would just move the compass a bit to the right.
Its a great clock tho at is working really good except for those details, anyone can help? and if anyone can make just the Norrath time would be awsome, Thanks.

Good Luck!
