major newbie needs hlp

Ok I just started,so this maybe lame.I followed instructions to create new eq2 ini file I know I have to do something with it but what?The ingame maps doesn't work atm.

yes i read that--I created the folder as directed and renamed it.do I have to do something with it or put it someplace? please understand I am not computer savvy- and eq2 is my first mmog

What version of eq2map are you trying to install? If you choose the auto version it should auto install.

If you choose the manual version you'll need to install it like a normal interface mod. Here is a more detailed explanation of how/when/where/what (with pictures) to do with the eq2.ini http://www.eq2interface.com/forums/f...talling_eq2ini

well guys I used the auto type and It works well.No it works great,great,fantasic-it's the BEST!!!!! I have allways had to memorize the areas and wondered how other ppl ran through so well.Now I know--Great job--I am HAPPY!!!
