Hmm, I'm somewhat confused now, I think I have completely misread your problem.
Like due to the fact that you said you had the "same" issue as the OP, but in fact the issues are likely unrelated. Or maybe that's because the OP edited the post to something else. I deleted a couple of the posts to condense the thread down to the real issues.
Anyway, for the sizing issue just run the updater, there was a bug with the vertical size in horizontal mode.
The shifting issue I can actually reproduce, it happens when you move the group window too close to the bottom of the screen. This appears to be a game bug. I'll have to do some testing to see whether I can get around it.
