Description
DarqUI Unified

August 23, 2016: Changes for GU101 are on the updater.

August 5, 2016: Some files have been updated to make DarqUI current with recent changes on the Test server. None of the updates will adversely affect gameplay on live servers.

July 17, 2016: Broker preset filters

You can now search the Broker for items by category using preset filters. Item filter lists were lifted from ProfitUI Market Favorites (most recently Zidu's work). Click "Presets" on the DarqUI Broker window to use the filters. Thanks to Accredo for help with ideas and testing.

July 6, 2016: Added Isle of Refuge and Race To Trakanon servers to window manager.

June 12, 2016: Harvesting helper

The DarqUI harvesting helper window eliminates repetitive mouse clicks and keystrokes during long harvesting sessions. Start the helper window and simply approach a harvestable tradeskill node. The helper will target (target_nearest_npc) and harvest from the resource. As you move from node to node the helper will continuously attempt to harvest, making it unnecessary to click harvesting ability macros or repeatedly double-click the node.

Open the window from the Harvesting page of the XP bar, or type:

show_window Custom.Harvesting

Use version 3.1+ of the utility to get the new files.

Other recent updates (click for details):

June 4, 2016: Start Menu customization

May 24, 2016: Shrink Mercenary, EQ2U Links

May 10, 2016: DarqUI Unified Utility v3.1.0.3

April 28, 2016: The Siege of Zek

April 19, 2016: EU server updates

------------------------------------------------------------------

DarqUI Unified combines the best of DarqUI, DarqUI Live and EQ2Inventory interfaces into one, with some useful new features. Standard DarqUI users can now choose to make quick, permanent configuration changes right from the game screen while playing, as an alternative to using the external window utility. There is no longer a limit to the number of characters that can be customized, and many of the settings that were previously shared by all of your characters can now be configured for each character separately.

DarqUI Live users can take advantage of an all-new configuration app with previously unavailable features like Quick Setup, backup and restore, character and spell file maintenance, and a new lookup feature that queries Daybreak servers for spell lines and icons to use for your custom spell buttons. The DarqUI Unified configuration app has been rewritten from the ground up to provide all of the conveniences from the DarqUI Window Utility and the Live Updater. You will find many usability improvements and an uncluttered design that matches the familiar in-game window manager.

Large size windows DarqUI Unified offers larger-size versions of many windows to accommodate higher resolution monitors. Choose the size you prefer from the Updates page of the utility. These include Active Journal (quest helper), Casting Bar, Chat, Detrimental Effects, Dissonance, Experience Bar, Group, Hotbars, Implied Target, Maintained Spell Monitor, Maintained Spells, Mercenary, NPC Spell Monitor, Pet, Player, Extended Player, Raid, Savagery, Spell Effects, Target, Threat and Tracking.

EQ2MAP integration Install and update EQ2MAP alongside DarqUI with a single click.

EQ2Inventory Track and search equipment, bags, bank and shared bank, house vault, mount inventory and up to 9 houses, guild hall and player-made dungeons per character from the DarqUI Unified interface.

Chat Log Parser features keyword, category and date/time searches for English, German or French logs. Use the preset category filters or build your own using regular expressions.

Help system Help files are now available for all DarqUI Unified windows and utility functions. Context-sensitive help information can be accessed externally from the window utility or from the window manager in-game. Use the new, more robust "Make default" feature on the Files page of the utility to set DarqUI as your default. This will prevent needing to use /loadui from the game window which crashes the awesomium browser.

Spell Suggestions There is a new French spell suggestion file in addition to German and English.

DarqUI Unified Notifications is a Windows tray icon that checks periodically for DarqUI updates. More information for setting up and using DarqUI_Notify can be found here. The app is optional, and is included in the download on this page.

I, too, have been having issues with Avast flagging DarqUI as a threat and not allowing it to update.

Per your response, I looked at Avast again, and finally found this under Components: Web Shield - with an on/off slider. This permitted me to turn it off for 10 minutes, and I was finally able to download the update.

Thanks!!

On the camp-to-character list, try this: In your DarqUI_v3\POI folder, delete darquiv3_shutdown.xml. Then in the utility on the Shutdown setup page from any character, click "Import as listed" and then click Autosave at the top. This should give you a list without extra names. There is an issue with reordering a camp list that has empty slots, which is corrected in an upcoming version of the utility. Your duplicate character names are probably a symptom of the same issue.

That did it, for both! Thanks, both for the help and for the terrific UI!

I have six characters. The camp/logout settings have them listed, name on left, server on right. But then they are listed again, blank on left, right side filled with character names. Cosmetic, but nothing works to get rid of those six repeated names - manually editing the fields, telling it to use the quick save, etc., etc. Is there a raw XML file I can go edit in Notepad?

And again, thank you for the best UI in EQ!

Larger versions must be written by hand. The way the interface is written, it doesn't lend itself to being resized by script or other automation. DarqUI has about 20 custom windows with larger versions. In most cases they are about 1.5x the size of the default.

From help (Updates page in the utility):

Window size choices Some files have a large version that is useful for high resolution monitors or if you can't see the interface easily due to vision problems. Windows with a larger-size variation will have the letter N (normal size) or L (large) in the Lg column. Right-click to choose Normal or Large. To select all available large windows at once, right-click the Lg header cell. When you make a new choice, you will need to download the size variation which will replace your current file.

Loving this feature so much!

The harvesting helper has been updated with an option to include shinies when harvesting. Shiny collecting is not turned on by default since there is some extra chat spam when collecting shinies that you don't get when harvesting normally with the helper.

There's a couple of ways to do this. 1) Go to the character's Group window page in the utility, right-click on one of the spell icons and choose "Follow macro." 2) If you want to use F-key icons instead of group members' archetype icons, click "Group window settings" at the bottom of the Group page in the utility. Check the box for F-keys, then in the dropdown for F2-F6 choose "Follow TNAME."

You can manually create #1 from the in-game window manager by choosing a spell icon slot and typing follow TNAME in the Macro Command slot for that spell. Manually create #2 in-game by clicking the Settings tab at the bottom of the window manager which will take you to a page exactly like the Group window settings page in the utility.

How do I one-click Follow?

This is a great interface, but I am stumped at how to add a one-click Follow option. The group window won't let me use that ability and the Socials Macro window won't let me use Follow as an ability command. I am totally lost on this one.

If you right-click on the name itself -- the word "Ainiko" -- you should get the context menu in either mode. I went ahead and added some more areas where you can right-click on the standard (non-extended) mode. See red areas on images below. If you are using the extended mode of the Player window, you still can only right-click on the name itself to get the context menu.
