I never entirely liked any of the icon sets for EQ2Map, so I decided to combine the parts of all of them I liked into a single set. It turned out the easiest way to do that was to create a new set from scratch. So here it is. It obviously requires EQ2Map installed (the default UI's map icons are stored differently, it's not just a matter of dropping a replacement DDS file in). Inspiration for parts of the icons came from the EQ2Map icons, the ProfitUI icon set, Milquetowst's alternate icons and the Sage UI alternate icons, but I did the actual artwork for my set entirely from scratch.

The player-location arrow's narrow to make it easier to tell which way it's pointing, and has a centering mark in it. The group-member icons are multi-colored and have single white digits that I find easier to read than black ones. The POI icons are smaller but still simple colored dots. (Note: as of TSO the icons are the stock ones, I haven't finished updating things yet and I'm not sure small dots will work with the new, more colorful map backgrounds.)

To install, just follow the instructions in the readme.txt file included.

Version 1.3b - updated for a new _Skinnable_Styles.xml
