Default Raid/Target window- Is this even possible?

Currently I use Profit which I am very happy with, but there is something I'd like to ask if it's even possible.

Is it possible to have a window or window grouping that has 2 groups of a raid on one side, the target and implied target in the middle, then the other 2 groups on the other side? The groups would be stacked vertically on either side of the target windows.

Hmmm, I like the concept of that. I'll do some fiddling and see what I can come up with.

Something I through together quickly using Drums raid window and the EliteUI Player Control Center (with portions from Profit, Mothers, and Drums)

Going to keep tweaking on it and test it obviously when the servers come up.

Default nice!

thats pretty cool - any chance that could be made into a stand alone for non-Profit users?

I don't see why not.

Not sure what else to put in there. It looks pretty complete the way it is.

Can you flip the groups on the right so the click to cures are closer to the center?

Also, can you see the target's cast bar?

the screenshot shows the target casting ice comet so that is covered. the idea of having the click buttons for the right 2 groups closer to the center sounds good though.

The only other thing i can think of would be to have one of your hotkey bars (maybe hotbar 9 since 10 is used for the spelltimer window) replicated in the gap under the self cures. Either that or add another row of click buttons that you can set up to cast the spells you want.

That's an interesting idea on the hotbars, I'll look into it.

Still tinkering. I am not sure if the "ready check" initiate will work, but I thought it'd be a nice feature if so. Will know more when the servers actually come up.

The window cuts off nice and slim at the bottom so that you can position hotbars right under it.

I assume it tries to start a readycheck -- a feature that a raid leader can use that pops up a little "Yes / No" window on the screens of everyone in the raid and reports any that aren't ready.

What method did you use to try that, valesai? I've noticed theres a /readycheck command in game but I've never gotten it to work.

Update.

The previous screenshot setup above gave me troubles. I was not thinking about the volume autofill of the groups. In fact I only stumbled upon the problem when my power went out and I reloaded the screens to see a different location than I intended.

Essentially what will happen is the raid window defaults the locations of the groups, which will put it smack dab over my player, implied, etc section.

So here's where I am now.

I added a couple of dead pages in the volume filling. My goal is to place my Player Control Center (pictured) in the top middle and hotbars in the bottom middle (taking care of request #2 from a few posts above).

My question is this.

When one window is over another window and you click the lower one it is brought to the top OVER the other. I want these two sections to be dead space. Is there not a "click through" option or something similar I can use for this? I do not want to cause the center windows to be underneath the raid window as that defeats the purpose.

Am I missing something?

I think if you added:
AlwaysOnBottom="true"
to the main container it would make any other window always overlap the raid window.

Have you considered a raid window similar to Aditus? http://www.eq2interface.com/download...llPriests.html

I've edited it further to remove the class quick cast buttons, that plus the cure button changes to the window cuts a WHOLE bunch of space. Love the idea, been looking for something or some way to do what you've done for a while.

An update.

Ok so the upper portion with my name and the buttons to the left/right is the pet window. Most of you won't have that. Essentially that's the idea. I have to work on the center portion a little more (where you see Frost Storm casting); there's some repositioning I need to do. Overall, though I love the way this works out. Once you get used to it it flows nicely. Everything you need in a raid is all in that location.

I'm not happy about the hotbars in the middle there tbh, other than that I really love the idea of it..

My main is Illu so I would have the pet window there instead I think, but I do see what you mean about non pet classes..

Anyway, the idea is great and you have already done a nice job on it for sure
