Default Guild Connect

Does anyone use the DKP program called "Guild Connect". My guild uses it but Im having some issues. My guild leader created my account for it and gives me a "Login Rejected" and hes been able to login with same account/pass. Iv updated my .net frame and not sure what else to do. Not alot of info on the progam. Anyone might be able to help?

No, I have not used the program before. However, in my experience, the "Login Rejected" message usually means the username/password credentials you've entered are incorrect. So I would verify you aren't making any typos, then (if that is not the case) contact your guild leader to verify he/she relayed the correct login credentials to you.

Hi there! My guild uses Guild Connect. There are two reasons for the "Login Rejected" message - the simplest is that, indeed, you've been given the wrong credentials. The slightly more complex reason is down to where you downloaded GC from. If you didn't download your guild's specific downloadable, you'll probably have the wrong server/guild details! All is not lost though...

Look at the folder where you have GC installed. You should have a file called "Instance.txt". That file (open it in a text editor - like notepad) contains a server port number and a string that represents the EQ2 server you play on, with your guild name. For example:
Quote:
9999
splitpaw_mysuperguild
If the information there looks wrong, ask your guild leader/GC admin what they should be (you can probably guess the servername/guildname bit but the port number wont be guessable). Correcting that will hopefully enable you to login

Or just ask for another account registration with new data.

Diggin up this old thread cause I am also having problems with guild connect. However mine is a bit different than discribed above. It does not ask me at all for name and password. it just logs on and chat screen and main screen appear but no place for name and password. everytime I try to do something it throws up an exemption too. here is the error log. Any help is appreciated, thank you.

Solved the problem, I needed to enable .net framework 3.5.1 The .net framework 4.0 does not work with the program. so should anyone else experience this problem that is the solution.

I do however notice that the 2 most popular UI's are still the most popular ! ... wow you guys must be EQ2 masterclass programers by now then ? ... My focus has been on a bit of the same OOP mixed with PHP AKA dynamic websites, I now have a bit free time but not enough to learn of all the changes in EQ2 or even compete with the finest UI's out there now, I mod off and on for a sandbox game now at my leisure...
