is there any way to fix browser so fandom works

Unfortunately not. The fandom (wikia) site has become far too complex to display in the in-game browser. At this point, the simplest way to get to the site is to set up a macro button with this command:

browserexternal https://eq2.wikia.com

That will open the main page of the site in your default browser, but you won't be able to use the automatic shortcut buttons in the quest journal, etc. To do that, you could use the URL Helper which loads the specific quests, items, recipes, etc. that have URL shortcuts in the UI.
