If you think the look of the skin is fine, Ill work on the colours tomorrow, I take it you want the blue darker?

Ill make the chat area etc darker still too I think as that shows up text better.

The look is kool, well done!

The blue is what I asked electric... but its a bit too bright... Thanks

Also there is still some black edges on a few of the windows.. Mostly with windows using the 2nd block background down in the .dds file

I have the implied target working now.. When you set it to Frame its a box like the effects one.. with none its a triangle again..

Been playing with someother stuff as well like the raid control box that appears when you set the clock to Frame as well...

Added a socials button to the start menu window..... There is room for 1 more button in there any surgestions? .... After that I may work on another set from a switch or maybe just from the view setting of the window.... Trying to keep this functional but unclutted but allso make it easy to use stuff that you dont want or need to see all the time...

I am going to actualy play the damn game for a bit now properly and see what crops up....

Will post SS and updated file in a few hours

Ps. Could you take a look at "raid.dds" and see what you can do with it? please

Yeh its gotta be the map i guess...

After playing for a few hours I missed that lots !! i know its only hit M to get it but I like it to be mini map etc

Well my change in window positions health player etc SUCKS!! bad lmao....

It was taking me way to long to get mouse pointer to the right when needed and was looking for the casting stuff on the left still etc etc ... result is I didnt like it one bit and I swear I died twice because of this confusion ... SO that set up is going to get placed in an alt set up folder ... and the old ones is going back in ..

So no update as yet .. doing it now its 2am here atm .. so i guess you see update when i have tested again tomorrow

Oh will have a looks at the raid dss now also thanks.

Posting madhogs full UI , with the updated files ! ... I think

You should have the player, memorized, filler etc back in the original order.. and the other order should be in the alt folder I have put in...

Oh hell I dunno lol... I still have one of my game folders that has all of the new stuff in and working for sure... but take a look at this first pls... Best to rename it then try I thinks ...

Been a long day, I guess

Heh no, that folder is fooked up bad! If you try and right click on any window, you dont get the options box, you get a black box, thin one too! So cant change any frame properties at all.

Opening up the notes element doesnt work either, just get a back box, large one tho that time /giggle

Can you use the last grey dds I posted too pls, not that one!

Been thinking about the other layers on the top of the UI, do we actually need them? Using your stat bar I cant see the point in the double row on the journal, only one of any use is the coins one on the exp element, and Im sure you could put that info somewhere else?

I ask this cos if I only had to concern myself with the one part, I could do more things with it, a lot more things with it. 3 Layers for sure is a pain in the ass to meet up, and 2 is too tbh.

Gimme the proper UI!

Ok, yer prolly gonna hate me now lol.

Ive redone the skin. I never really liked the sharp edges anyhow

I figured that seeing as we are redoing this UI, we might as well make it look like our own, and this is the best way to do that, and looks better anyhow. Or least it could do. Hell we might even end up cobbling together a professional looking UI here if we aint careful!

I think the shapes that appear on the screen come from how you call the image in the elements you're working on. Least thats how it appears cos Ive changed the bloody thing and its still triangles.

Could you *please* use the perdigraphic in the enclosed zip and refine the UI around the curves? If I know you're happy to do this, and are able to utilise the elements nicely, I can work on different textures, colours etc. I might do a fantasy version too if I can be arsed

Ive done a toned down blue version for you too, with darker area for chat boxes. Let me know what you think about this.

Dont forget the last zip you uploaded is buggered, and I need the fixed un!

Oh, you're in the UK too? Or was you just lazy when you did yer profile??

Had a dab at modding that file myself, but its all weird because the background is inconsistant, it really should be all one color, a nice medium grey is my fav.

Good flipping grief. Alpha channels are bloody evil.

Ive given up on the curvy one, its just too bastid hard heh.

Ive redone the grey and the blue tho, and they are attached to this.

Laffs, have you altered the region used for the start button element? If I drag it out to a wacky huge shape I get the thin black edge along the bottom but if if its in the normal position its all squished. This make sense?

Yeah Roenfanz (RF from now on!), I prefer a mid grey which is why Ive done this one.

If you fancy playing with it, I have cut all the elements out into their own layers within photoshop. Ive even left the bastid Alpha channel in!

All you need to do is change the overlay colour or even if you fancy, mess around with the textures. Took me a while to get it to this stage but its easily changeable now colour / texture wise.

Hmm I want a cool Interface Designer badge too! Ive aged 20 years doing these graphics!!

So what damn file do you want me to work with you muppet ??

The one in the last post?

I was thinking of rounded edges also, Was this to hard for you? Hehe

Oh and me is in the UK... /evil grin .... thats kool means I can now track you down and strangle you

I think I have the right files in order now... There is a folder in there called "centered target windows" that contains the switched around gauges in can anyone want to use them... put too much work into them to just throw away.. Personaly after all that and playing the game I didnt like that set up lol..

Going to have a look at that dds and stick it in the zip here...... all the zip includes is the changed files again none of the rest untill we get this set up right..

P.s. Madhog... you old git just looked at profile hehe

Its too damn light in here atm to see what it looks like properly lol... Will let you know later... Going to try and piece together all the parts for this to standalone... there is a lot of files that It dont need in the LaffsV8 folder...

This effects window is still bugging me... going to try and see if it will work off a slider rather than a button...

This Lite version is looking oks so far but it lacks somthing! and I am not quite sure what.... My son just installed Jaxels OCD and I gotta admit the screenshots do not do it justice! Some very nice features in there and well thought out.....

So how can we improve on what we have here?

A rounded look would be good like you said for a start off

Oks this should be the complete UI with all the files not in use taken out and refs to them also (I hope)

Put a show/hide map icon on the start button window now also..

The map mod will need to be installed to this folder as well likes..

Take a look at the exp gauges guys pls .. I changed the bars .. and I think going to do some more to this maybe like the erm... I think it called fetish turbo exp style.... Type of bar look..

That new blue background didnt like it sorry bud

Could you take a look at this color one with the same style you using on the new uns for me please... As this color seems to be the most easy on my poor eye's ... Had to half the size of the canvas to upload it here.. but you being an 'expert' (cough) with Photoshop that souldnt be a problem
