Hi Landiin and his friends

i have strange problem, for some reson when i go to game i dont have extreme ui load up in game.

i did check eq2.ini and all looks fine

Code:

cl_ui_skinname extreme
cl_ui_subdir UI/
letterbox_frame_visible false
cl_letter_box_amount 0.135000
window_allow_offscreen false
only_show_fg_in_letterbox_area false

anybody have same problem or have idea what can be wrong?

Was switching between default ui and extreme and now I'm somehow missing my upper chat window that had guild tabs and such, is there a command to bring it back? Thanks.

No single command, but you can use one of the premade UI settings.ini files to do it.

Heya,

i just installed this ui and really like except for the plain grey window color. please forgive me if this is posted somewhere else but is there an easy was to modify the color?

You can go to the download and look in the Patch & Add-on List section, there are 2 or 3 people that have posted alt backgrounds to use.

hey LOVE the UI was useing profit and got tired of it, but i got one question. Is there any way i can get rid of the black strip at the top and bottom of the screen? TYVM for the help and GOOD JOB, NIFFIRG

Yes; in the eq2.ini file, remove the line cl_letter_box_amount 0.135000.

The AUCP gets the characters from a file in your everquest directory called <account>_chanracters.ini I think is the name of it. If the character is not in that file then it will not be listed. The game use to create this file for each account that has been logged in. I do not know if EQ2 uses this file any longer or not.

Do you get that error if you select a character or not do just after selecting a character?

Any idea on a LU 41 update to eXtreme? Not pushing.. just wanting some of those small changes they made.

I have the one change done, I'll get it up later after play. Unless I missed something the only thing that effects eXtreme is the journal and that is just a check mark object that lets you hide completed collection quest.

I apologize in advance if this has been addressed in earlier posts. But I had a couple questions. It's been a while since the in game quick character switch has been working, I've got my toons names & server put into the AUCP part out of game and they show up in game, but when I try to use it I just end up at the character select screen. Also, I finally started to use the "notes" section but putting some stuff in the "notes" area in the AUCP, however in game I can't access it from the UI. When I go to click on "notes" it says that it's not added yet or something to that effect. Am I doing anything wrong or are both these functions not working right now? Thanks in advance...and thanks for your time on the UI, been using it for about 1 1/2 yrs. now.

I post it a few month ago. All experience infos on the top left has still the problem with the dot.

I mean is my experience at e.g. 20.9% the ui says 209%, can you please fix it... pleeaassseee

I used the 1280 resolution btw.

Is that Character exp or guild exp? I don't recall having that issue on my end. I'll check to make sure all files match up.

First this is the best UI, you guys have done a truly outstanding job. My only "hickup" is when I first open up the loader, the extream tab locks up at 50% complete and the EQ2map update freezes at 68%. I just shut it down and open it again and it's fine. i was just wondering if any one else has experienced this?
