Searching

Is there anyway to add a search to a window I'm trying to add a search function to the moving crate?
I can add the text box and add the button no problem but making it search is the problem?

Also is there anyway to add the auto-inventory drop button to something i can get the button in but it wont let me drop nothing into it.
