UI only saves first 20 chat channels?

Hello,

Just wanted to verify something with folks a little more familiar with how the UI works. On most of my characters, I have them joined to all the 'default' channels in game, along with some custom channels (cross-server class ones, test.test, guild parse/loot channels/etc). I noticed that while I can join over 20 channels within the game, when I exit out it's only saving the first 20.

Does anyone know if this is intentional? I tried searching but I haven't seen this come up much on these forums. I'm going to prune out some channels I never use for now, but I was curious if this came up with anyone else too.

I have no clue if it's intentional or not but i've known about it for the better part of 3 years and /bug it every once in a while.

Yeah I think it only saves 20. Do you really actively listen to more than that? All the channels you don't listen to just add spam/lag to you.

4 class channels for a guild as a raid/guild leader, parse channel, loot channel, plus ww channels for the classes i play, level channels (i keep all of em up since i remember where i came from and try to help the newbies with questions).

gets hard of you want to add anything else like a friend channel from a guild that died, an alliance, recruitment channel or anything like that and have it stay.
