Default Advanced Con System Switchable Target Box

This an advanced version of my switchable Con System Target Boxes. One button instead of two means LESS confusion to what system you are on.
Tooltip will light up when hover over button reminding you that this is clickable to switch to different style.

As with my other version, my Target window allows you to switch between the old system and the new via now ONE button that I added to the window itself.

Top box is My Target, the bottom is the Implied Target (So and So's Target).

Left is New System, Right is Old.

Please excuse the blurryness, seems I lost some clarity on the Image upload

Credit to Deathbane27 for helping me with button script.

Credit to Daimond for use of the graphics for health and power.

Credit to anyone else who I might have used bits of their stuff in my window just forgetting what I might have used.

hi .. me again ..
i tried this with nothing in the folder, but your target parts and it still does not show me the gauges .. they remain totally blank .. not sure what's happening here lol ...

Not sure, I double checked my .xml and the only .dds it calls for is the one I sent with the file. The guages you mention are default. And no need to send. The widgets are default as well. Only thing that is diff is in the player.dds file. It is for the background grey color on the bar and for the bubbles shapes. The bubbles colors come from default. I don't know why yours is not showing.

So far noone has mentioned it not working on theirs.

Are you using a custom eq2.ini file? You should be.

He is mine I use that is placed in my EQ2 directory.

cl_letter_box_position 0.999
cl_ui_skinname mods
cl_ui_subdir UI/



The .xml I sent goes in the /eq2dir/ui/MODS
The .dds I sent goes in the /eq2dir/ui/MODS/IMAGES

That is all you need to do and it should work. The rest of the colors are all default graphics and should show.

I have three EQ2 accts.
I ported my custom mod to all three and all three work no problem.
I followed the directions as I stated above.

Until others mention there is a problem, I am sorry to say something may be corrupt or not installed properly on your end? Please try again using the steps I outlined above.

Default Improved version is up for download!

In the download section my newer and BETTER version titled Advanced Con System Switchable Target/Implied is ready for DL. Please use the newer version as many major items are visually improved.

I am having the same problem with blank gauges, I have it installed and have issues.

Do also have other mod's installed? It is possible one of the other Mod's files are causing the blank guages. We had a similar problem with the new XP Bars, if there was an older version of one of the files in the custom mod folder the bars would appear blank or black as it was reported back then.

I have a custom xp bar, and custom player window and thats it. Nothing else uses gauges but this mod.

One thing I can think of, you will need to make an "images" folder in your custom UI folder and move the player_parts.dds into your custom UI's "images" folder, because anything the game does not find in the Custom UI folder it will look in the Default folder, if that file is not in the Default UI folder either, it will most likely appear blank.
So creating an "images" folder ini your custom UI folder and adding the file to that folder or just moving the file to your already created "images" folder in your Custom UI folder may fix the isssue.

Done both of those, I placed the file in my default images folder and created a images folder in my custom ui folder and still no go. That is why I am scratching my head.

I tried one of the other Target Mods that don't use Daimond's graphics and also do not have the Switch Button to switch between the old and new styles and it worked fine.... So I'm still digging.....

same here i have tried other of his mods and could not get them to work with my ui .... so it's got to be some direct conflict that is pertinent to his parts only....

Issue located.

progress_daimond2 refers to Player.progress_diamond3. It should just refer to progress_diamond3. It's likely working for depechenode because he's got progress_diamond3 in his player window as well.

Fix: Open both files with a text editor. Search for Player.progress_diamond3 and replace with progress_diamond3

Before uploading a zip, please extract it to a NEW ui folder by itself and make sure it works.

Thanks Deathbane27 again for your help, you were right I missed that line. I have corrected and I am uploading corrected zip. I am only going to correct my advanced version as that version is the best IMO.

Would like to ask if ADMIN can remove my 1st version the one with two buttons.


Sorry to all for my missing that.

Deathbane... I guess I wasn't looking hard enough at it, or maybe I was looking too hard at it. Well glad this got figured out and fixed.
