Default T.King still around? cool

haven't been around for awhile (dropped EQ last year). Glad to hear T.King is still around. He was taking a break from EQ when I left. Anyways, be glad to see his stuff if/when he does it (and when EQ2 comes out).

I don't think t.king will be making a UI for EQ2 since he is currently working for another company on a different game. You will probably have people that take the EQ t.king interfaces and port them over to EQ2 though.

darn I loved his class icons, and spell books. But I agree, I hope there are some new 3D artists that step up and bust out some sweet screens ;-)

I loved his stuff also.... I know a TINY bit of XML but I have like 0% drawing skill.

I am really glad you guys put up this site early... we needed someone to step forward so that when people start coding they distribute in 1 place.

His class icons were 3d renderings. They looked amaizing. I know some XML, and will dig though the UI ta try and figure it out once its available. But as for making the 3d art, I just suck at it.

Not just into Vanguard, working for Sigil. It would be a conflict of interest for him to do artwork that would be used in other games.

He got what all of us hope for, a job at a gaming company, but it's still kinda sad.

Wow, that's new to me. I thought SOE hired him on for the game artwork. No matter. I wasn't a big T.King fan myself. He's very talented, I'll most definately give him that, but his style doesn't suit me. He goes way overboard on the details for my tastes, too distracting for normal everyday game play.

Dolby and I had lunch with him on Weds. He is both sad that he wont be envolved with the EQ2 UI community and excitedly waiting to be able to show what he is doing for Sigil. (its gonna be a while yet, so don't ask, hehe)

We can only hope that another 3D rendering artist surfaces.
