Group member dots not showing in BGs

This is kind of a weird issue. It's not a new problem for me (nothing to do with the GU), I just haven't done much BGs till now to try and fix it.

Group member dots work fine for me on any live server on any toon. They don't at all in BGs. I've tried redownloading everything (via the updater), but nothing changed.

I'm using Profit as base for my UI.

Something that might be related to it, IIRC I heard some talk about raid member dots, I don't see these either if they exist.

Anyone have any pointers where I might want to look?

My issue is related but different. My group member dots don't show up in any zones. I did a full re-download and reinstall of auto-updating version of EQ2Map and Landiin's EQ2Map Updater. The map updater is still showing version 1.2.4 (even though it's supposed to be the latest one?). Am running with Fetish on Windows Vista 64bit. Thanks for any help you might have!
