Usualy getting just a black window up means that the <include> for the said window is missing in either the mainhud or the eq2ui file(s)

I have checked though both of them and dont see that anything is missing /shrug

Do you have the current version of this UI and did you DELETE all of the old folder contents before copying over the new contents? .. Minor as this may seem it is actualy very important.
