I found the Everquest.exe file in my test server folder. You will see a few different ones that say application next to it, check the most recent date and choose that one then your everquest.exe file will open. After that For new patcher I opened eq2 map updater {as administrator} go to 'options' in 'auto launch file. hit
'browse'. go to Local disc C ,open USER folder, PUBLIC folder,SOE folder, Installed games, Everquest2, you will see 'square with an s inside it LAUNCH PAD'
click on it, open your eq.exe and it should work for you. I hope this helps!!!!
