Just a tip the 2 files from the eq2map updater that change the view are
Skinnable_Windowelements.xml
Skinnable_WindowelementsMini.xml
Just make them both read only and you can update the map as normal without fear of it overwriting the image.Have done this with profit as I use that and works fine.
