The problem itself seemed to be more like out-of-screen window than broken link, because examining some stuff in my inv also not worked but when I right clicked on them the 2nd time I got the "Close Examine" option, like the window is open somewhere just not on screen (tho off-screen windows not allowed in UI settings). |
Yep, I had the same problem. If you somehow put your first examine window offscreen, unless you've already tried to examine something you'll just go "huh? Why isn't this working?". I just reset my locations and it fixed it.
