I've spent a good bit of time with macros, so here goes:
Autoattack on = /autoattack on
Autoattack off = /autoattack off
For a single line macro (which, btw, still work): "/: ; assist Tank ; autoattack on" (without quotes).
For the new macro system, line 1: "/assist Tank" and for line 2: "/autoattack on"
Just remember to switch attack off afterwords. I haven't found a command yet that does the assist/attack on its own. Personally, I don't use my assist macros often (unless in a big fight with my Assassin, where I need to know exactly where a mob is), I normally target the tank and keep attack on for the fight. Works the same.
For those that haven't tried, /assist Name will assist that name. A toggle command for attacking won't be reliable. And no, I haven't found the range attack command yet. I'll hunt it down if I have some free time tonight.
EDIT: Typo.
