Actually, that's not true. If you look at this
http://www.eq2interface.com/download...fo.php?id=3682 you will see that someone has actually figured out how to provide a mod to allow you to do
exactly that, so it is obviously
possible.
If the Notes mod was integrated into the Info Center, then it would be possible to keep notes from within the game.
