This is a skin for the EQ2MAP window designed to cut all deadspace out of the window so you can better see what you're doing with the window open. It also includes a mini-map plugin originally developed by Talyns, allowing you to shrink the window further and view only a portion of the map.
Installation instructions:
- Use The EQ2MAP Autoupdater to install EQ2MAP, or download the most recent pre-build.
- In the EQ2MAP Autoupdater options, make sure "Ask to overwrite MainHUD.Map" is checked
- Unzip this file to your custom UI directory. If your unzipper doesn't retain folders:
- eq2ui_mainhud_map.xml goes in [Eq2 directory]/UI/[CustomFolder]
- All other XML files goes in [Eq2 directory]/UI/[CustomFolder]/eq2map
- minimap_widgets.tga goes in [Eq2 directory]/UI/[CustomFolder]/images
- Select NO when the AutoUpdater asks if you want to overwrite eq2ui_mainhud_map.xml.
The last change to eq2ui_mainhud_map.xml broke the old version, and the next one would probably break this version, so I decided not to spend the extra 4 hours making it work off the existing scripts, assuming that's still even possible. So you get to click No when using the Auto-Updater.
