look at the instructions for the feature
All features have instructions for them in the ThorUI AU (The little "..." button next to each feature)
This is also stated in the main instructions.
Basically you should see a button on the top left of the inventory window.
Click that to expand the window.
I am looking at remodding this window due to so many with the same issue (So don't feel bad, it's not just you.)
