Yes, so if you already have that file eq2ui.xml, in your UI folder, before adding GoldiStartbutton, you will need to edit it and add those lines.
You could also do a little testing
Instead of adding the startbutton to your custom UI, create a folder, unzip only GoldiStartbutton there, and set it as your UI.
See if the button displays correctly
