Known bug slated to be fixed in the next release.
SOE added a label into the display that is now forcing the time to be clipped by the textbox. If you're inclined, you could open eq2ui_journal_active.xml in Notepad. Find the TextBox for the timer and tweak its width and possition to accomodate the extra text.
