Maybe this is the reason. I am not sure. I never had so many problems in EQ1.

Okay, having the font file in the EQ folder is no longer needed, so don't worry about that.
Questions so I can help you out:
1- Are you running a localized version different from the one that came in the box? (Example: Bought game in France, playing UK. Bought in UK, playing US, etc.)
Now I need you to do something.
1- Go to your EQ2 folder
2- Open the UI folder
3- Right-click on the QuickArial folder and click Explore.
4- Scroll the left pane down a few lines.
5- Hold ALT and press the PRINT SCREEN key.
6- Open PAINT
7- Press CTRL-V
8- Save as a jpg
9- Upload it on the next reply to this thread.
