Ah, ok, thanks Zonx... I can't believe I missed that in the doc... I saw the persistent display portion and totally missed the closed by default right under it.
(and I'm usually always a stickler about reading the instructions too... /doh)
Edit: Also, I wouldn't worry too much about moving it to a different window. Seems like a logical location for it to me.. works well for those that like it, and if people don't want it to show by default they can just remove those two lines.
