I am not sure about the crashing problem, but we were talking about changing the guild logo earlier in the thread. Somewhere there is a link for a photoshop plugin that you will have to download to be able to change your guild logo. Once that is done you can edit it to the way you want it to look, and what you want it to say. If you read through the forums Landlin and Heidrelka (sry i know I spelled ur name wrong) explain this a lot better then I can, since I have gotten to the part of putting my own guild name, but still cannot get the alpha layer to be transparent.
