Sounds like you are clicking on the name of the tank, which I believe Zonx has set up as an assist button (forget which part you actually have to click on to target the actual player... think it may be the health bars? I use the F keys myself, sorry) So, it sounds like what's happening is, you're clicking on the tank name, and assisting him, so your target switches from the tank, to the mob, and your implied switches to the mobs target.
