I have tried all different things to correct this problem, but as of yet I have not been very successful. I installed the beta EQ2 Map Updater, but it will not load the maps from the EQ2 Map site. I have no problems reaching this map site via web address (so I know it's not blocked by my computer) yet the Beta Map Updater won't load. I always get the message:

I do not have any firewalls. I ran the full file check the EQ2 has, and everything in my EQ2 files is current. I am at a total loss. Please, any ideas? I have read about an EQ2 Patcher, but don't know what that is. Is that separate? Or does that come with the Map Updater?
